1 Sewn and glue binding / hardcover binding / Smith Binding / Sewn and Perfect Binding / Smyth Sewn=Section Sewn

– This binding style suitable for the notebook, planner printing usage, it is top binding way like the Library quality level requests. This because all pages be bound together by binders thread, glue all parts together and H/T band. The notebook what be bound by Sewn and glue binding be called the practical and durable way.

– Can lay flat 180 degree when writing, don’t restrict hand.

– Be suitable for the notebook such as Leather Cover(hardcover or softcover), Linen Cover(hardcover), Paper Cover(Hardcover) like below picture show, final effective is very nice and long term usage.

2 Loosing Binding/Loose Leaf Bound

– Loosing binding style is suitable for the luxury final feeling. This binding usually use the ironware more durable and long term usage. Easy open and closed, refill inner pages.

– This binding is matched with hardcover leather cover, final effective like below picture show.

 

 

3 Spiral Binding

– This binding style almost same with Loosing Binding, while not be refilled inner pages, also can lay flat when writing

– This binding suitable for the paper cover(hardcover or softcover), PVC cover, Leather Cover as below picture display

4 Sewn Binding

– Sewn binding just suitable for the less pages under 60pages, if too much, the notebook not easy to closed completely.

– Just for paper cover notebook, binding style like below picture show

5 Saddle Stitching

– The style like below picture show, just suitable for notebook under 48pages, if too thickness, can’t be bound

– If for notebook usage, recommend as the advertising notebook, for office usage, too less

Classified by Inner Pages Content:

The notebook style be sort by inner pages printing content, one is the all pages are same, we can called Notebook, another one is the pages are difference, we can called Planner

1 For Notebook

– The same pages content usually like the 5mm Dotted, Lined, Blank, Grid, Checked or Blank printing, you know we are the OEM supplier, thus, if you want to add your logo at all pages, of course, could do for you.

– Usually for notebook size, the A5, A6, A4, B5 8.5*11inch or other size you want, all could achieve for you.

– The inner pages from 160pages to 300pages, recommend you use 160pages, 192pages, as their thickness is more suitable for taking and usage for meeting, recording or other.

2 For Planner

– The planner printing inner pages usually are different of all pages, for Weekly planner, monthly planner, yoga planner, event planners, daily planner, etc.

Planner printing, the clients provide the all pages design artwork to us, we print to you. As the different clients have different pages content request, thus, your side send the file to us, will be better. Of course, if you need, we can send the sample to you based the artwork request.
